Bins brings a fun-first approach to online shopping through a gamified peer-to-peer marketplace with an emphasis on secondhand. We aim to put a new thrift shop in our users' pockets each morning, creating a playground of unique & unfiltered styles. In an online world littered with infinite choices, we give users a digestible, comforting sense of finiteness while still putting discovery first.
Bins is a peer-to-peer marketplace for online thrift shopping, delivered as a mobile app. It emphasizes discovery and social sharing, with daily curated “bins” of items and a private-feel shopping experience rather than a traditional searchable catalog.
Bins presents daily collections called bins, including seller bins that let users browse a seller’s inventory. Users can share finds with friends, showcase purchases in a personal bin, and sell items by creating a digital version of the item from a photo and details, which is then distributed for purchase within bins. The app emphasizes a thrifting-like experience, with new curated looks each morning and themed bins planned in the future to match user vibes.
